I'm excited you're here. This is our official site for company news, development updates, user feedback, discussions and support for users of The Skypark. An active subscription is NOT required so come one, come all!
I believe that to build a great product we not only need great minds behind the scenes, we really need input from the community. Of course openly asking for that is like wanting to sit behind a 747 during run up...
We're going to get blasted with both great feedback that follows the vision of the product, and feedback that's nowhere near what we're trying to build. But it's all exciting and we're ready for it. We've provided a beautiful and clean forum for you to submit all those wild ideas, ANYTHING goes, don't hold back! Aviation plays a huge part in some really unique circumstances around the world and a small team like ours couldn't possibly know about everything. For example did you know Air Canada 787's fly into Kansas City to get interior work done? Or that every year during the Alaskan Dog Races (Iditarod) there is a service called "Flying Dogs" that runs dogs and supplies to participants!? That's the experience we want to share with you, the magic of adventure in aviation. If you know of any scenarios like this, please share them! Buffalo Valley Run routes, special event cargo runs, concert tour locations, automotive race locations, world event, airshow schedules etc...
Naturally we need time to digest all the feedback that will come from an open pipeline like this. It's a lot of data, so here's what you can expect from us. We won't respond to all, and if we do it's no guarantee that we're moving forward with it, or that it's complete. What we will likely do is ask lots of follow up questions, in some cases we'll play devils advocate and ask you "what if's" or hit you with "yea but" or "how would you". This isn't meant to be confrontational, it's so that we could explore the entire lightning bolt of pathways a new interaction in game could create. We promise to stop asking questions before saying YES we'll do this, or NO we won't! A little mystery spares hurt feelings, not all ideas will be a fit for the product, and that's perfectly OK!
Oh and lets not overlook PRODUCT FEATURES! We know you have ideas, toss them at us. There is a forum dedicated to features, want The Skypad to make you coffee via Google Assistant? Ask! Want a synthwave colored Moving Map? Ask! You throw the pieces at us, and if it makes sense to move it into place we'll do just that. Keep in mind that building a product that presents the ease of use we've produced takes a great amount of resistance to building all of the things.
So whatcha waitin for!? Create your account, head into the Forums, introduce yourself, and most importantly make sure you post any and all your ideas for adventures and features in our forum. We're really excited about content being driven by the community, Ivana is already here and settled in. Enjoy!
