Money earned using Skypark?

Really interested in this product.  I have a question, I know we earn Bux for the cargo we deliver but what are the Bux used for? what can we spend them on to make them worth while?

We have a bunch of ideas like this but we want to know what you would like to do with that currency in-sim.

This is the problem with making "money" in flightsim games like this. It's well, pointless.

It might as well be a "score" or "rating" or whatever you want to call it because that's essentially what it is.

In the real world why would you take a job as a pilot? The bottom line to make money/living. 

This is very difficult and if not boring to do this in game.

The original poster in this thread raised the most critical question.  If earned "money" is the motivator, then one should feel like it can be used for something useful.

I've been in FSEconomy for about 3 years now.  I love the concept.  It has motivated me to fly in sim much more than I would otherwise and made me explore places I would not have visited.  But it has a fundamental limitation--sure at first you make money to buy a plane, which you then use to make money faster, which you can then use to buy a bigger plane, etc.  But then what?

Looking through various posts and the developer's replies to the people's questions here, it feels to me like the developers are not quite getting the point here.  They talk about "not depriving the user from freedom".  But to have no restrictions is pointless.  There is no game if there are no rules.  Otherwise, if we play soccer, for example, I can just grab the ball in my hands, punch the opposing players, and score as many goals as I want... But this is then pointless.  There is no fun in it, no achievement. 

So, if you say: pilots can move anywhere, fly any plane they wish, have no restrictions on cargo/pax relative to the plane, then what's the point?  I can just do the same flying in the sim... No restrictions, and no extra real dollar costs for me.

Actually, this is one thing which I feel the FSEconomy is missing--the persistence of pilot location, not just plane's location.  And yes, you can also buy a "voluntary" plane ticket to move between airports, but this makes no sense to me.  Why should I handicap myself against others?  If everyone is forced to pay for their transportation, then it will feel like those with more "money" can have more freedom to move.

Think about the possibilities here:  players can fly other players.  We can pay extra for a faster jet travel which gets us there sooner.  Players can offer "discount" travel and have competition.  This "restriction" is what enriches the game.  It forces players to look for creative solutions... 

Well, I hope you guys will deliver a good product, whenever it comes out, and will take note of the feedback people are posting here...

Hi guys, ok I've have used FSEconomy and FSAirlines, both systems are about earning money and having things to spend on.  In Both you have to fly, earn money and buy your aircraft, really not a great idea as you spend more time trying to earn the money to deal with that.  It gets old.  On top of that, you have to deal with aircraft fees (FSE), FSAirlines added wear and tear on parked aircraft, and the list goes on and on.  So with a system that really wipes that out and gives us just the profits of doing a job, instead of dealing with all the everyday things that just make it harder (think of AirHauler 2).  You never really seem to get anywhere.  In FSEconomy, once you have an airplane, and your Homebase (FBO), after that what else do you do?  FSAirlines at least gave you the option of buying a house, a car and a few thinngs to put into it.

So, what can we buy with our profits?  And I think there are a great deal of possibilities, maybe you can start with renting an apartment, later on buying a house, a nice car, etc.  I can see a lot of possibilities, and if you please gives the Devs some ideas as to what kinds of things beyond what I was just sharing, they will be happy to respond in kind.

I could even see like having a special event, you use some of your bucks you earned doing jobs, and you can participate.  But the ideas are not limited to just that, think of things and share, no idea is dumb unless you don't share.

I am glad that we don't have to worry about earning the money to buy the plane again, I have several Payware airplanes I'm really dying to fly on such a system.
